Tax Collector

The Tax Collector is charged by statute with collecting funds needed to support the following:

  • Mount Holly Township Local School District
  • RV Regional High School District
  • County of Burlington (county government)
  • County of Burlington Library system
  • County of Burlington Open Space
  • Mount Holly Township Fire Districts
  • Township of Mount Holly (local government)

NJ Division of Taxation’s Property Tax Relief Program

Mount Holly now offers an ACH option for quarterly tax payments. In order to participate, please submit a completed ACH authorization form accompanied by a voided check to the tax collector’s office for enrollment.  ACH authorization forms can be found under Tax Collector Documents on the Forms & Documents page of our website.


2025 ACCELERATED TAX SALE

WILL BE AN ELECTRONIC SALE THIS YEAR TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2025 AT 8:00 AM

Beginning November 11, 2025

ALL DELINQUENT PAYMENTS INCLUDING:

2024 SEWER,

2025 DELINQUENT PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND

2025 DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES

MUST BE IN THE FORM OF: CERTIFIED CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CASH

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 8, 2025 AT 1:00PM

NO PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN ON DECEMBER 9, 2025

NO EXCEPTIONS

After Tax Sale Procedure

 

All delinquent property tax, property maintenance and 2024 sewer charges have gone to tax sale on December 9th. Please contact the tax office beginning Wednesday, December 17th to inquire about redeeming your lien. All redemption requests must be received in writing accompanied by a copy of your photo ID, select a business day between Monday-Thursday for the redemption date. You will need to send in certified funds for the full amount to redeem the lien. We will also require a second check or money order for recording fees.
