Business Spotlight – The Local Eatery & Pub

We would like to congratulate The Local Eatery & Pub on 10 years of business in Mount Holly! Read on to learn more about the story behind this beloved establishment and what makes it a true community spot.

The Local Eatery & Pub put down roots in downtown Mount Holly in 2016. Owners Derek Little and Callum Satchell loved the charm and historic character of the downtown area, making Mount Holly the perfect destination to bring their farm-to-table restaurant vision to life.

Located at 64 High Street, the two-story restaurant has kept its character intact by embracing the building’s historic charm. The owners restored and preserved the integrity of the former Mount Holly Pharmacy, a space that dates back more than 150 years.

For the past decade, the restaurant has become a community favorite thanks to its classic but elevated food and drink menu, live music and overall welcoming atmosphere, making “The Local” truly a local’s spot.

More than a restaurant, The Local Eatery & Pub is a reflection of the community it serves. The owners believe being “local” is more than just a location; it’s about community. That’s why they strive to source ingredients locally, supporting other businesses throughout the region and keeping that hometown connection at the heart of everything they do.

From its historic location to its locally inspired menu, the restaurant continues to celebrate the people and places that make Mount Holly unique. We wish you many more years of great food, music and community!
